Took a few days off, slept in. Focused on eating and drinking. Felt good this morning, but it seems you trade one thing for another. Left heel is in pain. Must had pulled the tendions in my foot. Ran 10 this morning. 5 EZ, 5 at Lactact Threshold. Decided this week to run purely on heart rate to see if I can control the bout of overtraining (though I have stuck to the plan every mile). Ran with Amy B this morning. We started out on the 5 together but I told her once mile 5 came I was increasing the effort to 91% of my Max HR for the remaining 5 miles. She was fine with it. Run was good and foot did not hurt this time. |
